#3. Got Discounts?
It’s safe to say that majority of auto insurers will have discounts or promos at any given time. For example, some may offer price breaks for those who have good driving records.
Also, consider bundling your insurance with a homeowner’s policy, or by putting multiple vehicles under one policy. Ask them about paying the whole thing in six month or annual increments and see if they can lower the rates for you.
Car owners generally save more money when they get a vehicle that has safety and anti-theft features, agree on e-documents and pay in advance. Keep in mind that there’s a difference between in-car security and systems sold in car dealerships. The ones you need are legit anti-theft systems done by after-market companies and the manufacturers themselves.
Lastly, you can become a member of an affiliate group or professional organization that have partnerships with insurance companies.
